partial gathering

Partial Gathering was a cello and live electronics duo with the French cellist, Corentin Chassard, performing a psychedelic hybrid of improvised and popular electronic music.

They appeared at some of London’s most cutting edge and prestigious new-music events. Making their debut performance at the National Portrait Gallery, the pair was quickly invited by the Oubliette Art Collective to perform at their ‘Home is where your art is’ exhibition in their converted Mayfair art gallery/disused building. Not content to restrict their music to seated audiences, they took their new brand of contemporary classical electronica to club venues.  They performed at the Alphaville Festival at Whitechapel Gallery, the Drift Sound Series at Old Vic Tunnels, The Forge, Café OTO and NONCLASSICAL.
